The Story
Safety Distance is a photo.
It’s an alt/rock picture of the quarantine taken during the emergency lockdown. It’s an urgent snapshot of a generational battle against an invisible enemy. It’s a pledge to those who suffer, to highlight their condition.
An indie-prog crescendo. that becomes increasingly heartfelt launches not toward pointing a finger or placing blame, but instead reaches out to offer to support and bring us together, even across our (necessary) social distance bubbles.

Lyrics
Safety Distance
Every generation has their wars
So if you assume there’s a country where you belong
Then the situation isn’t complicated anymore
But what happens if they all have to fight something…invisible
It’s the people, social media, or the smog
It’s all fake, politics, toss your cellphone
It’s the season, animals, just the cold
But still they choke in their homes
CHORUS
And all the speakers say:
Let’s keep the safety distance
It’s like the old resistance
Somebody, hear them pray:
Who’s gonna pay for this run?
The poor against the rich one
Ok…try this: accuse who’s to blame, and what for
It gets a whole lot easier when it’s someone’s fault
Because if you can pass the buck, find a scapegoat
Well, suddenly everything is…understandable
It’s the system, every media, stocks and bonds
Fake news, bureaucracy, check your App store
It’s the money in those banks and their vaults
But still they choke in hospitals
CHORUS
…
Put up the barricades
Let’s keep the safety distance
It’s like the old resistance
Enemies at the gates
Who’s gonna pay for this run?
The poor against the rich one
(I’m invoking…)
Common sense for the common good
CHORUS
…
And all the speakers say:
Let’s keep the safety distance
Somebody, hear them pray:
Who’s gonna pay for this run?
Put up the barricades
