Color Shades is a piece by piece sort of track, which was born, not through a jam session in the studio, but from behind a computer. Building off of one of HolyHargot’s beats, the song was recorded spontaneously, with each member of the band adding their own contribution to the track.  When we had to choose which song to bring to the song competition Una Voce Per San Marino for the chance to perform at Eurovision, Color Shades came a close second to Like An Animal.

A fresh song with a deeper meaning, Color Shades is a symbol of our band’s more introspective side.  It represents us in our existential aspects as artists and guys making their way in a world without guarantees and certainties.  One day you might wake up ready to take off and conquer the world, and the next you may feel like born losers.  It focuses on how we often feel, and confesses, in an unapologetic and honest way, how we’ve been dealing with our experiences of the last few months.
